Podcast Episode 008: 3 Ways You Need To Use Google Ads For Your Business Today

I had total analysis paralysis when it came to Google Ads.

I kissed goodbye so much money on just trying to get them to work.

About $20,000 in wasted advertising funds. No lie.

I almost cried a little because it still hurts to see that number on paper. I’m pretty sure it’s why we didn’t have any vacations from 2008-2011.

I tried it all–newspaper, radio, tv, and every little magazine some random housewife had built out of her garage. I was desperate to reach my audience and bring them to my door and willing to try anything {try being the key word, because none of these were working}.

And, then one day I sat down and asked my customers how they found me.

“Oh, I googled you.”

The lightbulb went off and I realized my clients were looking for me by googling.

And my journey with Google Ads began.

On Episode 8, I have my good friend, Michael Alaniz, on the podcast to share the top 3 things we can do now to get Google working for our businesses.

Things you’ll learn in this episode

  • How to use Google search engine to bring up a query of related search terms that can be used in creating content to build traffic
  • The difference between a blog and a journal, and how to properly use blog content
  • How to re-market content (and why it is important to make an offer instead of branding)!
  • The way to target people to go to specific pages on your website from the search query
  • You can target people by how much time they spent on your website
  • Writing a good offer will trigger your audience emotionally toward the end result
  • The importance of testing your offers and providing new offers often
