I was 22 when I started managing my first yoga, Pilates and training studio.

Twiddling my thumbs enjoying the fruits of my labor I’d earned from my first company didn’t quite suit this girl, and I’d fallen in love with Pilates.

Within one month, I was driving three hours away to get certified and as soon as I had my certificate in hand I wanted one thing and one thing only…to teach.

I was the first Pilates instructor in the facility and alongside Pilates, I saw traditional personal training and yoga/meditation clients.

I was full to the brim in weeks, working from 5 AM sipping green tea and listening to Norah Jones until 11:30 when I’d head for lunch with my bestie, Paul who owned the linen’s store I lived above.

It was my dream life…until I realized my life was moving just a little too fast.  Suddenly, I was asked if I could work from 4-7:30 1, 2 then 3 days and all I had time for was work. Work. work.

Within a month I hit my breaking point, but it took me almost 6 months to make a change because I was crippled with one serious fear…that my clients wouldn’t tolerate anyone but me.

Or that there would be a mass exodus and I would be responsible for losing the studio’s hard earned money.  And, my clients…what would happen to them?

Listen to Episode 100 and you’ll learn:

    • What do you do when your clients only want you?
    • What happened when I realized I couldn’t sustain what I had built
    • How I changed my “savior mindset”
    • The difference between asking your clients what they want, and offering them solutions
    • How the power of my long-term goal served me
