Patti Ferry and The Importance of Mindset

In my journey, I’ve been lucky enough to meet some amazing people – those who’ve inspired me in my business, pushed me to work harder, and kept me positive.

And every once in a while, I’ll come across someone whose mindset I just want to absorb and make part of my own.

Today’s guest, Patti Ferry, is one of them!

Patti is the owner of Whole Body Yoga Studio in Pennsylvania.

And despite trying to run her studio in a state with some of the strictest lockdown policies in the country, Patti is the calmest person I’ve ever met. While all of us would be freaking out about the latest lockdown developments, Patti would be her calm, controlled, zen self – nothing could shake her and that’s a quality I’m both envious of and inspired by.

So, in today’s episode of Ready.Aim.Empire, I try to pick Patti’s brain by asking her about how she approached reopening her business so calmly, especially given that her older clientele were especially worried about getting back into the studio.

She also spoke to me about how she’s outsourced her sales process, how she tracks the leads that come into her studio, and why she’s made communication a priority among her team this year.

She also discusses how FOUR other studios within a 3-mile radius of her had closed down during the pandemic, and how behind all that calmness, there’s an extremely motivated and determined person who rejects failure and powers right through any obstacle put in her way.

So, if you’re someone who’s reopening your studio anytime soon, this episode is a must listen!

In this episode, you will learn:

  • Patty’s background and what brought her into this industry
  • What her opening and reopening cycles looked like through the pandemic
  • Where Patty finds a lot of her leads, and what she wasn’t tracking before that she is now
  • Her criteria for finding a team member to be in charge of her sales process
  • What he focus will be on in order to grow the studio moving forward

With grit and gratitude,

Lisé
