    Y’all, today is a deep breath day.

    These past few weeks, our world has been turned upside down.

    And one of our biggest challenges has been getting our brick and mortars back on track.

    I truly understand why governments are being cautious. I have an autoimmune disease myself, so flattening the curve is extremely important to me.

    That being said, at Studio Grow, we want to make sure that as reopening guidelines are made, we’re proceeding with a fair assessment of what businesses should reopen and when

    We founded the Boutique Fitness Coalition with that in mind. We wanted to make sure boutique fitness studios weren’t being lumped together with fitness centres and cinemas with 250+ capacities.

    At the end of the day, we’re different from large gyms and just as safe as spas, salons, and barbershops.

    And we wanted to make sure we got that message out there to governors, mayors, legislators, and to anyone who’d listen.

    Y’all, we’ve had some incredible success in select states. People did listen and changes were made.

    But for every state that we saw success in, we had a new state pop up where guidelines got stricter and reopening deadlines were being pushed back.

    So today’s episode is for all owners struggling with reopening and where there seems to be no end in sight.

    Join me as I break down the four steps of who you should be speaking to, how you should structure your arguments for reopening, and why local media is your most powerful tool during this time.

    This isn’t just helpful to reopen now, but also to make sure you stay open during the second wave of closures in the fall/winter seasons.

    Remember y’all, we’re all in this together.

    In this episode you’ll learn:

    • What we’d like to see as the world re-opens for business
    • The major hole in the market that we wanted to address by creating the Boutique Fitness Coalition
    • Why starting local is your best chance of getting open {and what this means}
    • How you can leverage local media and state legislators in your efforts to re-open
    • The 3 things to focus on and what really differentiates boutique fitness studios from other fitness facilities
