Want to hear a stat that hits home for your studio?

Out of all the people who come through your doors, an average of 7 percent are struggling with some version of depression, and 1 of every 5 are struggling with anxiety.

Thankfully, over the last few years, the stigmas of anxiety and depression have begun to fade as society has become more accepting and willing to create space and provide solutions for those suffering from these challenges.

(Our break-neck speed society has only exacerbated these issues, so I’d argue it’s about time.)

But of course, we still have quite a far way to go, which is why with stats like those it’s more important than ever to have a deep comprehension of how you as a studio owner, teacher, and a fellow human can create space and provide tools for the many people coming through your studio doors to seek relief and healing.

As my guest on today’s episode, Ashley Turner, shares, it’s our responsibility to know our client’s and student’s journeys and to be their guide so they can be the hero they’ve always been.

First, as a yoga instructor, Ashley recognized the profound impact that yoga had on the psyche and went back to school for psychotherapy so she could delve deeper into the mind-body connection.

And now as the founder of Yoga Psyche. Soul. – an Advanced Yoga Psychology Training for yoga teachers, therapists, and students, Ashley teaches her students how to navigate and develop this connection so that we can provide the most effective tools that give power back to our people and not only help transform their lives, but also offer unwavering empathy and create experiences within our studio that are exceptional and remarkable.

This work is fascinating not just from a yoga instructor’s perspective, but truly from a human perspective, which is why regardless of your paradigm, Ashley's message can't be missed.

So sit back and sink into a comfortable spot to listen, because everything is about to shift in the most liberating way you can imagine.

    In this episode you’ll learn:

      • Why Ashley was so intrigued with the integration of yoga and psychology and how that led her on her journey to where she is today
      • What you can do to educate yourself and expand your presence as a yoga teacher
      • Ashley’s number one tip for how you can start transforming your life today
      • How we can learn to excel in the mind, body and spirit and then give back in service
      • What is the “hero’s journey” and how you can apply it to your life and business
    • Some of the biggest lies we tell ourselves about our journeys and how we can do the inner work to make the mindset shifts to overcome them

For a girl who’s always up for a spontaneous adventure and feels like life is always a little more fun with a let’s-see-where-it-goes spirit, I also really love having a plan.

And, of course, one of those areas where I love having a solid plan in place is marketing.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m also of the thinking that you can get a nudge of an idea, whip up the magic, and execute… not everything needs to be so mapped out that there isn’t any margin for fun and creativity.

But the reality is, having a plan is what drives the flow of profits. Particularly, a marketing plan.

As we look back on this year, there has been so much change in our business, but as necessary of a time as it is to reflect, it’s also a crucial time for looking ahead to 2019 so we can put our plans in motion right at the start of the year.

As we head into 2019, we’re going in with a ton of testing under our belt, which has produced a ton of clarity and insight into what has worked best this past year and what will be running with in 2019, as well as what we’re choosing to focus less on.

Listen in as I unpack my 2019 marketing toolbox and give you a sneak peek into where you’ll see Studio Grow in the coming year and how you can take our insights to inform your own 2019 marketing plan that will help you steal back time and add clients.

      In this episode you’ll learn:

        • The major marketing shifts and trends we’ve gleaned from our testing and what I believe will be big in 2019
        • Our team’s process for creating fresh content and why batching and preparation has been key for our success
        • Why Instagram Story ads are so effective and the best way to get a quick-and-easy response from potential clients using Facebook
        • Some fascinating results we’re seeing clients get using the Google Display Network
      • How you can locate and use influencers in your local area to market your business

After leading thousands of studio owners through our programs, we’ve come across nearly every style of studio, movement modality, and business owner that I can think of.

From business models to business philosophies, there is a vast range of differentiation, yet despite all our differences, it’s remarkable that the most successful studio owners we’ve encountered all have the uncanny ability to do one thing: prioritize.

Does this mean prioritizing is the key to success?

Well, I believe it’s a little more multi-dimensional than that, but I do believe this quality is 1000% essential for anyone who wants to achieve a goal or their vision for success for the simple fact that we can’t do it all all at once.

We have to narrow down, zoom in, and pinpoint our focus and be relentless in the pursuit of completing one project before we start another.

Without that skill, all we’ll experience is spinning our wheels without any forward progress.

That’s something today’s guest, Suzanne Davis, owner of Love Yoga in Oregon, experienced for four years before finding The Client Cure.

Being the first yoga studio owner in her community, Suzanne needed more than just business education; she needed a resource specifically built with the studio owner in mind. Once she took the plunge, Client Cure coach Myken immediately pegged Suzanne as someone to watch, and her inkling was right!

Today you’ll hear from Myken and Suzanne about her journey through The Client Cure and what steps have contributed to her incredible results (like bringing her revenue, clientele, and conversion rates to an increase of 40% over six months).

        In this episode you’ll learn:

          • The journey Suzanne experienced leading up to joining The Client Cure and what propelled her to join
          • Why her mindset upon entering the program was so important
          • The first steps she immediately took when she joined and how she chose which priorities to focus on and what her focus has allowed her and her team to accomplish
          • The way she was able to hire a part-time studio manager and the amazing success she’s achieved this year
        • One thing that she wishes every new studio owner knew when starting out

One of the biggest pitfalls I see studio owners encounter is “shiny object syndrome.”

You’re on the quest to pivot or overhaul a piece of your business, and then…

          Shiny object!

Your focus shifts and you begin working on your new project and then, bam! Shiny object!

This cycles out of control until you’re left with a trail of partially started, half-done, and none-finished initiatives, all the while not much has changed in your business.

This is why prioritizing is crucial if you want to see traction.

But then comes the question of what to prioritize first?!

Have no fear because Client Cure Coach Myken is here to give you the answer.

In this episode, she’s taking over the mic to talk about what she’s experiencing with her most successful coaching clients and the common priorities they’ve honed in on to be able to achieve amazing results.

Results like a 40 percent increase in revenue, clientele, and conversion rates all within a six month period.

Trust us; it pays to prioritize.

          In this episode you’ll learn:

            • What trend Myken is finding among all the studio owners she coaches who have been most successful
            • Her top three priorities that studio owners should focus on first
            • The amazing results that one of her clients has seen through focusing on these three priorities
          • Why you shouldn’t rule out an uncomfortable ideal too quickly {until you do this}

          With grit and gratitude,

          Lise
